Customer Review: For those of us who delight in the glories of classical music, this CD is a gem!
John Williams, a gifted composer and gifted musician, is one whose music would be

Customer Review: Having discovered Chopin's unique musical treasures in my pre-teens through Naxos discs featuring Szekely, Szokolay, Zaritskaya and Biret (readily available in my small home town), I acquired this Ashkenazy set in my teenage years--that is more than ten years ago--and considered it the definitive... more info
Customer Review: I listened to this disc collection at least a hundred times. Poulenc is a great composer and Eric Parkins interpretation is really enjoyable

His playing has verve and virtuosity, but has no depth or subtlety required for playing these highly... more info

The first disc starts out with a 1979 live recording of Chopin's first piano/orchestra concerto featuring pianist Krystian Zimerman and the... more info
