Customer Review: "In Between Dreams" is a wonderful assortment of music. Mostly consisting of heartfelt and feel good songs; such as: Better Together, Banana Pancakes, No Other Way, Constellations. Unto more upbeat rhythmic tracks: Sitting Waiting Wishing, Breakdown, Staple It Together. Even touching on the more... more info
Customer Review: The fact that this guy would probably be a hit with John Mayer fans is a blow to this guy, since John Mayer is easily one of the worst hacks making music (no, muzak) today. I was hinted to call this guy a slightly more interesting John Mayer with an acoustic guitar. Sure, it's not deep music, it... more info
Customer Review: The Jack's smooth voice and his music, simple and pleasant, can be addictive. In fact, I bought all the other Jack's albums after hear this vinyl. It's a very good album, it isn't pretentious and that is indeed what attracts. Everyone needs Jack after a hard work day.
Customer Review: Got this cd based on the song Hallelujah and everyone giving it such great reviews. Let me just say I am completely disappointed. I listened to it twice to give it the benefit of the doubt and found there are are only 2 or 3 songs I would ever wanna hear on this album ever again.
Customer Review: I'm actually not a Jewel fan. I don't really enjoy her style of music. I like Christmas music and I was worried I would regret purchasing this album. I did not want to hear her yodeling "O Holy Night".
My worries were put to rest. Her version of "O Holy Night" surpassed Celine Dion's, which I... more info
Customer Review: I still remember when this cd first came out, back in 1996 (around that time). This cd captures some of the best music in the 90's. So take a trip down memory lane and enjoy this. Fiona's subsequent cds are also good. She is very talented vocally and with the piano.
Customer Review: The artist Jewel is really a country- pop crossover, sent in several years after its actual 19994 release to clean up MTV and be the main American-Euro rock star. Her material here is incredibly simple, not even basic folk music. A following release This Way just defined country, but this here is... more info
Customer Review: Emerging from the shadow of Kurt Cobain in the late 90's, Elliott Smith was perhaps the greatest singer songwriter of his generation. Smith's genius was his unabashedly honest, naked, poetic lyricism that was so beautifully complemented by his unpretentiousness acoustic guitar. Like none that came... more info
Customer Review: Tori Amos may be her own running gag these days (what with the wigs and costumes), but no one can argue that she made it big for no reason. In 1992, Tori had to prove that a singer-songwriter album made entirely on piano can achieve commercial success. It sold over two million copies worldwide and... more info
Customer Review: A great singer-songwriter that passed away but left some memorable music behind. A hint of the Beatles; his sweet, airy voice coupled with some great writing though dark reminds a bit of a new up-and-rising SS:Arrica Rose in her new album La La Lost. Take a listen.
