Customer Review: I bought this knife on the recommendation of Cooks Illustrated. I'm not disappointed in it at all. The handle is well shaped and easy to grip with slippery hands. The blade good and sharpens well. Nothing bad to say about it and I'm not sure what else I could look for in a boning knife.
Customer Review: I had used this fillet knife for many years, always keeping it in my fishing tackle box, until one day it disappeared. I kept looking for a replacement but they were too expensive especially after adding S & H. My grandson's fillet knife broke so now both of us needed a knife. I checked... more info

Customer Review: This is a very nice knife. It is comfortable to use and the wood is beautiful. Just be sure to hand wash to keep the wood in good shape.

The boning knife fills in as a perfect replacement for this type of job. I've used my Global boning knife for filleting every kind of fish imaginable as well as... more info
Customer Review: Kai will claim this is a fish knife. They lie. I've used this on fish, on meat, vegetables, chocolate ... I can't for the life of me figure out what this knife wouldn't be good on. It's not a fish knife. It's a "first knife I reach for" knife. While I'm legally required to note that the thing... more info
Customer Review: I've had this knife in my block for a while now, and I'm still impressed. For a cheap knife, the stamped blade performs very well. The edge is razor sharp from the factory, and stays that way with minimal effort. Treat this knife well and you will be very happy. That said, before you buy,... more info
Customer Review: Shun makes great knives, I won't deny that, I have put together quite a set including an elite series chef knife as well. This knife is certainly sharp, the handles are great, whatever. The problem is that it's a terrible boning knife. The blade is completely ridged and inflexible. Boning knives... more info
