It's relatively easy to install and operate and certainly feels safe (although our LATCH clips were installed backward on the seat so we've always used the seatbelt installation). Customer Review: Like the product but needed to purchase shelf liner to place on the back part of the seat. This product has padding that covers the bottom of the seat for an infant. It would be better if it came with something for the top. Adding the shelf liner avoids damaging the seat.
