Customer Review: I'm not much of an audiophile. I don't possess the resources to be much of an audiophile. All I needed was a capable stereo receiver to replace my old Pioneer system (purchased in the early 90s) and viola: I am happy. Setup was a snap, though attaching the speaker wire to the proper outlets is... more info
Customer Review: Don't be Dont be deceived by the good looks of this receiver and the Sherwood name. These are garbage, and not even worth their $89.00 price. I know of 2 other poeple that have purchased these, and have had the same experience with them that I have. The audio quality is worse than any receiver I have... more info
Customer Review: I have set up a system of squeezeboxes with these units as the power amps. They are all located in my furnace room and with the squeeze WiFi remote control system it all works well. The ability to over ride input 2 by putting a signal on to input 1 is excellent. I have my PC set up as input one... more info
Customer Review: This no-thrills receiver truly delivers on the reliability side. Its sounds greatly (don't buy anything below 100 true watts, even if it's only for a dorm, you'll regret it later if you get floor-standing speakers). The display doesn't have all the "lights" other brands boast (but that's the... more info

Beats the tar out of my (admittely low priced) Pioneer receiver's tuner. I have owned nice equipment before (ex: Cambridge Audio). I decided I wanted a * good *... more info
Customer Review: The USB thing was very cool. But, in spite of being in a well-ventilated space, with nothing stacked upon it, it kept getting too hot. It would also cut out if volume was turned up even moderately. Eventually, it wouldn't even turn on at all - just shut itself back down again. Could also never get... more info
Customer Review: Very solidly built amplifier that can be used in stereo or bridged mode. Offers speaker-level inputs in addition to the usual line-level. Sounds good to me and others have commended Audiosource for their nice bang-for-the-buck value. I bought this on sale for $129.99. As you can see... more info
Customer Review: Sounds good, but I bought a refurb unit and it smells really bad.
I have smelt this smell before in new receivers, but never this strong and never this bad. I am worried the smell will not go away, maybe others can chime in and let me know if they had this smell when it was new?
