Customer Review: An aberration from his usual style of legal suspense thrillers, Grisham does some fieldwork in this stirring true story about a man (Ron Williamson) who struggles mightily in life after the good old days of high school stardom. Ron was a high school baseball prodigy and everyone in Oklahoma knew his... more info
Customer Review: I'm a law student who read the book for a Civil Procedure class. The book was a little longer than it needed to be perhaps, but it included a lot of great personalities and a compelling litigation story. Not courtroom drama, but the entire drama surrounding a huge suit from start to finish. It's an... more info
Customer Review: Recently finished this book and I highly commend the author for penning the improbable: a book about law that is incredibly lucid, engaging, and even entertaining. I found myself fully absorbed every time I picked it up. The writing is excellent and the organization clear. I've come to believe over... more info

Customer Review: This book is a great example of the passive exploitation of the college textbook market. Publishers have perfected the art of having an expert slap together material that is not elaborated upon enough for advanced students, or which repackages information that can be obtained cheaply (or freely)... more info
Customer Review: Frankly, I was disappointed in the depth of insight and reflection offered in this book. This little volume is essentially a recapitulation of a narrow and shallow view of Constitutional Law and exegesis of the US Constitution that lacks a unifying logic or point of view that underlies it. And, I... more info
