Customer Review: I bought this as a gift for someone. I flipped through the book before I wrapped it, and wish I had ordered one for myself. It is a very small book - about 4" X 6".
Customer Review: I purchased this book about two years ago and it has been worth every penny and more. I often just leave it on my desk for quick reference regardless of what stage in a project I'm in. I am currently a third year Architecture student and can see myself using this text well into my practice as some... more info
Customer Review: A magnificent book, which is indeed current to within the last year, including buildings such as `The birds nest' used in the Chinese Olympics and Toronto's ROM, but not their recently updated AGO. The buildings are described well in the text along with Architectural designs and copious images... more info
Customer Review: as an art teacher, this is the book i always give to my student teachers, at the end of their time with me. yes, not all the drawings are the best, however, the lessons are sequential and contains some good insights. its a great book for a beginning art teacher.
Customer Review: I like shopping at amazon because I am always satisfied with the service that I receive. Most of the time I usually get my purchase on the date estimated (sometimes I don't depends if there's a holiday or something) and the books I buy are in really good condition!

I had great difficulty in closing the book after I opened it to one partiuclar page as the... more info

How masterfully the author delves beneath... more info
Customer Review: A great reference book along with:
A Visual Dictionary of Architecture
These two books are sort of the Elements and Principles for architecture, your tools and the manual of how to use them. Architecture:Form,Space,&Order is more instructional and covers architecture principals... more info
Customer Review: If you think this book will make you a designer well you are wrong. It is a great piece in the myriad of books on architectural theory and certainly a good read. However, this book is intended for architects and urban planners to read and to use as a reference. If you are not one of these people or... more info
