Customer Review: I just finished reading this book, and I absolutely loved it! I think this is the best one Cornwell has done in a while, especially after her last somewhat disappointing book. A huge part of what makes people love this series is the interactions among the main characters, not just the technical... more info
Customer Review: It has ben sad to watch the decline of quality in James Patterson's stories over the years, but this one is unreal. No story line, none of it makes sense, characters are unbelievable and uninteresting. I had a very difficult time trying to understand why Cross would risk so much for something in his... more info
Customer Review: I am a lawyer and an avid reader. I have read several of Grisham's novels. "The Firm" was his signature piece -- it was a spell binding thriller that had the classic "poetic justice" ending. However, his latest novel, "The Appeal" was a tremendous disappointment. Customer Review: The Pillars of the Earth is by turns scholarly and a guilty pleasure. If you ever wanted to know a host of architectural data about European cathedrals, it's there. Our heroine Sophie is a wonderful contemporary vision of her early historical heroines; sassy, witty, smart ( most of the time) and not afraid to... more info
Customer Review: Giving hope that this one wouldn't be as boring as the previous books, I was once again bored to tears with this book. You'd think being a secret unit from different agencies and units, being led by a Delta Colonel, there'd be some tid-bit of action in this. Yet, this book falls flat....though... more info
