Customer Review: Choosing which translation of Dante's Divine Comedy to read is a very subjective and personal question. Any translation involves balancing the meaning, feel, and artistry of the work, normally at the expense of at least one of these qualities. A major consideration is the topic of rhyme. Customer Review: "Clasping my arms like a climbing plant
the leaves garnered your voice, that was slow and at peace.
Bonfire of awe in which my thirst was burning.
Sweet blue hyacinth twisted over my soul."

Customer Review: I lost sleep last night to devour its last page...I love a night like last night where a book keeps me awake like a lover. This collection is the juice of a cool of mango on a scathing summer day, I tasted radience in the words!! I immediately got more to give as presents to friends in love.more info
Customer Review: This book is a classic in Literature in Spanish, but please don't buy this edition from Anchor Books. It has a lot of typos and spelling mistakes that a good editor would never allow. It was a very disappointing buy... but a great story regardless. That is why it gets 2 stars and not one.

Sin muchos matices y muy directa sobre un viejo obsecionado por una nena de 14 anos. Vuelvan a leer los clasicos de Gabo y no se desilusionen.

Customer Review: This is a wonderful collection of poems by Neruda in a bilingual edition. I'm planning to use it in a course I'm teaching in Fall '08.
Customer Review: I was taken by this book when I first read it and it still remains one of my favorite King novels. The atmosphere is dark and oppressive and you can feel Carrie's pain come off the words of the page as she deals with general alienation and an extreme and painful home life. It is a quick... more info
