Customer Review: Thomas L. Friedman's new book, "Hot, Flat, and Crowded" is an excellent read for every one interested in the future of planet Earth. Friedman draws connections between different topics which make one realize the need to protect this wonderful resource, Earth, which we inhabit. "Hot" is in reference... more info
Customer Review: I think it is a very moving and thought provoking memoir and it should be required reading in high schools especially for people interested in science. Sheds new light on animal intelligence and the unfortunate rigidity of the scientific community in the face of new and fresh ideas.
Customer Review: You: Being Beautiful could as easily have been called You: Being Healthy. Roizen and Oz write: "We all want to look beautiful, feel beautiful, and be beautiful." I'm not sure how many men would admit to that, but substitute "feel my best" and "healthy" for "beautiful," and this describes the book.... more info

Customer Review: Here is a flavor of campaign book I didn't previously know existed. Sen. Daschle is not running for an elected office, but seems now to have attained the goal behind the book - Secretary of Health and Human Services, and White House go-to guy for healthcare reform. The book gains a great deal of... more info
Customer Review: If this book created any controversy, it was likely due to the title. For some, the idea of a "Post-American World" means the decline of the United States, with other nations supplanting it as the most powerful international entity. Zakaria's view of a post-American world, however, is much more... more info
Customer Review: I am always looking for ways to be more productive. Being left-handed I became interested in this book when I saw the sub-title "Why Right-Brainers Will Rule The World". I thought: "finally, my day has come!". What I found was not quite a "recipe book" for success but rather a new and different... more info
