Customer Review: I really tried to like this ball head but it never really work for me. I am 6'1" and my hands have no problems with using the "grip" but with my camera set-up (Canon EOS 30D 8.2MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only), Canon BG-E2N Battery Grip for Canon 20D, 30D, 40D & 50D Digital SLR Cameras and... more info
Customer Review: A solid tripod that also works for tall photographers. The locking lever legs beat the 'screw tightening' legs any day. My only gripe is the weight...but then I didn't pay for carbon fiber so I can't complain too much. Wish it had an option to add spikes to the feet for a sturdier grip on uneven... more info
Customer Review: Just confirming what all the others have said: this is an excellent ball head. It's maybe a bit on the heavy side, but that's the price you pay for stability. Excellent precision engineering.
Customer Review: This ball head has really surprised me. I had wanted a 468MG with a better (RRS) quick release system, but I decided to pick one of these up given the relatively low price of admission. While I like the drag adjustment of the 468MG, I found that the adjustment of the 488 is smooth enough that I can... more info

Customer Review: The sony tripod works as advertised and, makes it much easier to zoom in and out. Only thing i wish is that it had a video output jack. On my current camcorder this plugs into the video out so that you have no way of adding an extra video out to the camcorder. With the old one on my prior camcorder... more info
Customer Review: I had a very tight budget when I bought my ball head and tripod but I still wanted something that was well made and built to last yet not real expensive. This ball head fits that bill nicely. It does it job and is solid and secure. I feel very comfortable with it attached to my Manfrotto 055XB... more info
Customer Review: I went to camera store after camera store trying to find this little piece for my tripod. Finally, I got it here on Amazon. The tripod portability is great because it is small and lightweight. However, this piece is easily lost - so be careful. It screws into the bottom of your camera easily and... more info
Customer Review: Having spare quick-release plates allows me to not have to worry about changing plates from camera bodies to telephoto lenses, etc. I can buy as many as I need and not have to change. Manfrotto/Bogen rocks!
