Customer Review: I've owned this sharpener now for about 2 years and have found it to be a solid sharpener - especially for the price. I do not think that you're going to get your knives to be as sharp as if you were using a stone, but it does seem to work quite well enough.
Customer Review: I have a high dollar set of Wusthoff Trident kitchen knives that I was always scared to run through a mechanical sharpener. After wasting many hours and dollars on trying to manually sharpen these using wetstones, Lansky sharpeners, etc. I was never able to get the edge like original. About 2... more info

Customer Review: I really enjoy using the knife sharpener. My Knife cuts through anything now. The case is kinda cheesy. But for the price you can't go wrong.
Customer Review: This review is short and sweet because there is no need to be long winded about how well this sharpener works. It's inexpensive, it's designed well and stores easily. You cannot go wrong as it sharpens blades of all shapes and sizes.

To start you have to make 20 passes of each side of the knife in slot one, then you have to make another 10 passes of each side of the knife in slot two. And you much make them very slow. Customer Review: I bought a shun chef's knife before and had been using it with great pleasure. I liked it so much I used for everything - great until I tried to peel a tomato with an 8" chef knife. Bad idea. So with a paper towel wrapped around the small cut on my thumb I sat down and ordered this little paring... more info
