Customer Review: I happen to pick up Jeffrey Toobin's The Nine just after completing Constitutional Law in law school. What a great companion this book was to the class. The book explores the stories behind many of the major cases learned in law school. It not succinctly summarizes the law, but far more interesting... more info
Customer Review: It said the book was in great condition. When in fact the binding is broken, and there is writing in a good deal of the pages. I would rate it in poor condition. I was going to return it but I did not have time to wait on a new book and have time to wait for a refund.
Customer Review: I could not find this book locally. I gave it to my boss as a Christmas present, as he is an attorney and he really was surprised and liked it.
Customer Review: The book was in great shape. There is a lot of highlighting and notes in the margin, which is a little distracting. Other than that everything looks great!
Customer Review: It's a casebook, so it's not supposed to be great reading, but this one is by far the worst casebook I've ever had. The only thing a casebook needs to do to achieve mediocrity is contain cases. This doesn't, not really. It gives you the cliff's notes of important cases. One sentence blurbs about... more info

There is a much better book called "An Educator's Guide to Texas School Law." If you're a Texas educator, I would buy that book and avoid this one. This is a college text intended for LAW... more info
Customer Review: I'm finding my torts class difficult at times, so I'm glad to have this book for my text. It has a lot of examples to illustrate each concept, which is helping me grasp all the ideas pretty well. Also, the book is not nearly as expensive as a lot of textbooks, so I feel I'm getting my money's worth... more info
Customer Review: I'm a law student who read the book for a Civil Procedure class. The book was a little longer than it needed to be perhaps, but it included a lot of great personalities and a compelling litigation story. Not courtroom drama, but the entire drama surrounding a huge suit from start to finish. It's an... more info
Customer Review: I just finished reading this book over the weekend and thought it was well-written and answered some of the lingering questions I had about the case. The majority of the book deals with the original trial and the events leading up to the murders, the history of the Suffolk County Homicide Squad, and... more info
