Customer Review: This book gives a very good, comprehensive overview of the major disciplines in psychology. The text is long, but is well mixed with pictures, diagrams, and activities. The text is also very readable. This book is used as a college text for an Introduction to Psychology class. The material is... more info
Customer Review: the seller should have stated that the exercises/activities had already been completed (in black marker, no less)rendering those activities useless to me. the book had writing in it throughout, which affects the experience of the reader as they attempt to do the exercises.
Customer Review: I have read almost every self help, motivational book and this one really speaks to me. It is so down to earth, so easy to read, and it is well worth the money. Everyone that I know who read this book, has bought it for someone else too. Cant get through to your teenage boy, give him this book.

Customer Review: This book is a hoax. I knew it even when I read it as a teen. Another reviewer had a good point, that it may have been based on a real diary but was extremely heavily re-written. especially all the anti-drug parts. Even as a teen, it seemed too cliched, predictable, far-fetched and preachy. too much... more info

I REALLY liked the style of the book, the way she wrote these characters, and the story here. I mean, this woman knows how to write teens in a way that many authors do not. Every word... more info
Customer Review: This is a great book for 5-10 year olds to learn about human development and where babies come from. The book appropriately doesn't go into a lot of detail about sex but covers the basics on how a baby is made. The book is well illustrated and kid-friendly. My kids were especially fascinated by the... more info
