Customer Review: I keep this book on my coffee table and find myself getting lost in it at least once a week. Not only was it a huge endeavor for them to make a compilation of every country in the world but the information they include on each page gives you a perfect taste of each country. They include music and... more info
Customer Review: Rick Steve's is 'right on' with his Italian Phrase Book and Dictionary. I actually used this book on my trip to Italy last summer and I loved it.

The night time walk through Rome that appears in this book was one of the highlights of our trip, it was absolutely beautiful.

Customer Review: Lots of stimulating ideas for unusual things to do and unusual places to visit, 'off the beaten track' in many instances. A great book to browse for travel ideas.

Customer Review: I bought this book in preparation for a trip to Ireland, not only our first time there, but our first time in Europe. I had heard the Eyewitness travel books were wonderful, which is why I selected this one. I was not disappointed. It was incredibly helpful; pictures and text.
Customer Review: Great travel book, with lots of info about each destination to allow you get a good idea of why each place is unique and how to look it up further. Photography and printing quality is also great, so I would consider it as a great photo book too!
Customer Review: Not a bad guide, decent overview of all the sites and also cultural aspects of Egypt. My major complaint is that the maps are terrible. There is only one actual map, and it is only of Cairo (East of the Nile). So if you're staying in Giza (Cairo west of the Nile) you are kind of out of luck.... more info
