Customer Review: Fleet Foxes are the once and future kings of the currently thriving "bearded indie folk" music scene (along with the likes of Iron & Wine, Bon Iver and Sea Wolf), and there's a good reason for that. In addition to the heaps of accolades from indie music gatekeepers like Pitchfork (who picked... more info
Customer Review: This album is amazing! The extra track (#12) is nothing to write home about, but this is easily the best rock album of 2008...and it's even better on vinyl!
Customer Review: I heard Bon Iver playing Skinny Love live on David Letterman before falling asleep and made a mental note to myself to find out more.
I loved this song so much that January 3rd I could remember the date that Bon Iver played (December 11th).
I bought the album without previewing the... more info
Customer Review: Jenny Lewis is one of the most talented singers and songwriters of our generation. The guest vocals on this CD are great! Her voice and lyrics are unique and unlike any of the same old you hear on the radio. More lively, upbeat, and a great blend of many rock styles.
Customer Review: I will be honest, this is the first Beck CD I have ever purchased. In the past I would here a track and say to myself, "wow that is so cool". It seemed like a post-modern mish mash, very unique---at first. In reality it was like Doritos...delicious at first, but not sustaining. I am glad there were... more info
Customer Review: This cd is a happy cd. I loved the band so much I purchased it for a couple of friends to spread the word of the band. Later on saw them featured on MTV...WAY TO GO!! I hope everyone enjoys this cd as much as I did.
Customer Review: Out of nowhere comes MGMT, and they are GOOD. Every song on this album has a melody that sounds like it must have came from somewhere else, but no, it's new. They are very original... kind of a blend of 60's rock and 80's pop with modern layers of sound. I'm antsy to hear more from this band.
Customer Review: You Form an Opinion!!!
Wow, I stumbled across this site by googling lyrics to "Evil Urges" and "Look at You", and read this review and laughed. I don't agree with what the comments "stop imitating neil young" (of whom i love) and "Listen to all their older albums NOT THIS ONE". This album has... more info

Customer Review: Third is a journey with Portishead through some new uncharted territory. It leaves you feeling like you've learned something. Beth Gibbon's incomparable vocals are the meat of the entree, but there are so many flavors throughout the collage of this feast. If you like Portishead's previous albums... more info
