Customer Review: I'm seeing Dear Science on a lot of "best of 2008" lists. This status is well-deserved. Like the best of creative musicians, this talented group has made music that is both challenging and listenable, retaining key elements of their complex sound from an earlier, break-out cd, Return To Cookie... more info
Customer Review: I bought this because I am a musician and composer in a small way and wanted to study the bass, drums an loops. This was helpful for this but I also found it was very entertaining and satisfying listening as long as you are happy will loops. It was an excellent sound and very well produced.
Customer Review: I will be honest, this is the first Beck CD I have ever purchased. In the past I would here a track and say to myself, "wow that is so cool". Customer Review: This album is amazing! The extra track (#12) is nothing to write home about, but this is easily the best rock album of 2008...and it's even better on vinyl!

Eric Hilton and Rob Garza specialize in a globalist chillout style that, from a musical standpoint, is pretty insubstantial fluff but which works quite... more info
Customer Review: I'm sorry but I need to show N.O.W. some love. This album is rather dope. 195lbs reggae cut transcends the terminology 'dope'. This whole album indeed is very dope sounding with very funky fresh magical beats. Need I say more? Without a doubt I give this record 5 stars......shame on anyone that says... more info
