Customer Review: As an Anglo with only a smattering of Spanish, I was stunned to see Julieta Venegas performing El Presente while channel hopping. As I did further investigation, I found out just how huge Julieta is in the spanish speaking world. I would rank her right up there with Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Dolores... more info
Customer Review: Viva La Vida is the only good song. All the other songs are boring and sleepy and are lacking a good melody and a good beat. The bad songs just seem like filler material. Albums that have only one good song suck. I always feel ripped off by those. Also I don't like the death theme that's in a lot of... more info

Customer Review: I had heard "Limon y Sal", the song, a long time ago and loved it. When I first listened to the CD I was surprised to hear 3 other songs I recognized from the radio. I know very little Spanish, but with the lyrics included, I can sing along. It's fun to listen to with catchy tunes!
Customer Review: I have to say, I've been a fan of Juanes' since I first heard "Nada" on MTV en español years ago. It's been absolutely amazing watching him grow as an artist, and as a fan, I feel privileged to have been a part of that. When I first heard this album, I wasn't sure about it. I felt it lacked... more info
Customer Review: Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas somewhat of a breakthrough album, as she left behind her previous punk/rock sound to a more pop style. The change apppears upfront in the album's kitschy cover, showing Julieta as a traditional bride dressed in white against a pink background. Predictably,... more info
Customer Review: I love her creativity, here is a good mix on english and spanish... the duets are amazing (Enrique Bunbury, the lead singer from Cafe Tacuba, Mercedes Sosa, etc)... This woman is pure talent! The best buy I've made this 2008.
Customer Review: I went to 2 of Mana's concerts in Houston. Both times were just electric. While the video put me in the same atmosphere, I feel the song choice could have been a little better. Much of the album reminded me too much of the Mana en vivo album with much of the song selection coming from that album (el... more info
