Customer Review: The first time I was introduced to Lizz Wright was on the Sunday Morning show's music review. I was mesmerized. Her voice is raw emotion, sultry, and rich in tones. The Orchard is excellent, especially song #4 (Hey Mann) and #12 (Strange).
Customer Review: This is a meticulous record, each note weighed and measured, where Lynne and producer Phil Ramone favour the standards.
Thankfully, at its heart is a singer who has already demonstrated - on I Am Shelby Lynne and Identity Crisis - that she instinctively understands how to communicate emotion.... more info
Customer Review: I bought the album after hearing the song "Mercy" on the radio. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that there were several other great tracks on it. She is a good lyricist and all the songs have the retro sound/feel. A great buy.

Customer Review: I seen her on SNL and loved her voice. The CD is really good so nice to be able to find a singer that doesn't sing like everyone else.
You won't be disappointed with this CD.

Customer Review: What's to say about Emmylou Harris. She is a national treasure and this album is outstanding and a statement of who she is. Thank you Emmylou!
Customer Review: This was a great album and even more impressive considering everything that has happened to this young lady. Great voice and great instrumentals.
Customer Review: Wow - Letterman coined her the coolest guest ever on his show and I agree. Great find for those who love jazz with an infrequent nod to pop. All in all, latin jazz at its best and with the ability to appeal to many music lovers of other genre.
