Customer Review: I had a lapel mic that required a battery. I didn't want to have the chance that the extra battery would go dead at the wrong time (law enforcement). This mic works great and is powered from the digital voice recorder so no extra battery to worry about or deal with. Works with my Sony recorder.

Customer Review: This case came with my Olympus DS-50 Digital Voice Recorder. You have to check when you order your recorder to see if it comes with the case. It's a soft velvety-type of case. You can access all the buttons on the unit except for the on/off power switch.
