I had the same one last year and left it in my pants pocket. They don't launder well. Bought a newer model because the lady at the store I got the first one from said they were no longer available. Not all Plantronics buds are the same and I got tired of my wife and friends complaining how bad i sounded.
I decided to check the availability of my original bud on Amazon and found it. Works fine, got it on time, trying to remember to set in on my dresser when not in use. Enough said.

I bought this for my daughter to use while traveling between home and college - 2 hour drive. I am very happy with the quality. It is exactly what she needed. Thanks

Plantronics Voyager 520 Bluetooth Headset:

I bought two of these for my wife and myself about a month ago. After using them for a month I would rate this product as good. The quality is okay. Sometimes it's staticy and it locks up my iphone. If feels comfortable, don't really know it is even there. The bright blue and/or red flash will keep you up at night, so don't charge it in your room while you sleep. I like it overall, but I think that I overpaid for the quality of sound that I'm getting. Would I buy them again; probably not. I would find... more info

Poor performance:

I have owned several plantronic products in the past and for the most part all have been of excellent quality. Unfortuately, this headset is not very good. The sound quality is very mediocre, with lots of static. The headset does not always work with incoming calls. I would not recommend this product
