Phone support is $1.89 a minute AND there is a minimum of 15 minutes. If I wanted to pay to talk to someone, they better at least be talking sexy. Come on man, that is insane. In this day and age, to just abandon customers like this is ridicuouls. I was having buggy issues with this software, too many to name. I just wanted to talk to someone and see if there was one underlining issue that would solve everthing. Well I guess I'll just add this to the list of cliff-hangers in my life, right on up there with... more info
Good Core Features But Way Too Unreliable:
"Roxio Creator 2010" suffers from trying to be everything to everyone. The list of features on this software package are truly impressive, but that makes it even more frustrating when the majority of the special function applications just don't work correctly of cause your system to hang. My system is fairly powerful Compaq Laptop, Dual Core 2GHz with Vista (64-bit) and 4GB memory, which more than meets the basic requirements. Loaded OK (Vista). Instructions OK. Works OK but It Isn't Fabulous. Have Experienced Some Glitches.:
I have Windows Vista & had no issues loading this Roxio program. I also found the instructions easy to understand and to follow. With Roxio, I was looking to burn DVDs as well as create short videos using my pictures. Burning the DVDs was a piece of cake. The creating the videos took me a little longer. The end product was ok (but I'm a first timer). However, sometimes when I open my pictures (Roxio not pulled up), it seems that Roxio just wants to take over my computer. I don't know why.... more info
Disappointed:
The last few versions of both Roxio and Nero have continued to give me less than satisfying results. Roxio Creator 2010 is no different. In attempt to make their software more appealing they continue to load it up with extra features like creating slideshows, calendars, etc. While all of the "extras" that these companies include sound appealing for many users, the majority of folks just want a simple process to burn CDs and DVDs.
