When the time came to look for a 16 gb thumb drive, I decided to go with Kingston DataTraveler based on one year of 100% positive experience with their 4 gb memory stick. So far I am glad I did. This 16 gb drive is sturdy and has a quality feel to it. Data transfer speeds are plenty fast for my backup needs, especially at the $32 price range. But after reading some of what is here, I felt the need to chime in and give this item the credit it is due and the positive rating it has earned. Do I care about color schemes? No. Do I care about the possibility of cap loss? No; I tend to take good care of devices that contain sensitive or personal data. Do I care that a supplier may have delivery issues? Terrific product at a bargain price:
This was bought from a third party seller but the shipping was free and FedEx delivered it to me just a few days after ordering. The product works great. It does not transfer data as quickly as some of the high-end USB flash drives but at less than $30 for a 16 gb drive, this was a terrific bargain. As for the complaint that the cover cap can get lost easily, I keep my drive in a drawer and don't bring it from place to place so this doesn't affect me.
