Good read:
While this book is very basic, it does have some good information. I am not asian but have an eyelid like the girl in the upper right corner, so i found some great tips. Even if you aren't asian there are looks in this book that can suite any race but the photos (although some are really blurry)are pretty.
great book:
this book is so beautifully done. i think its easier to follow than other beauty books, just need to sit and take your time. i also love looking at the gorgeous photos. i think it is great that it shows a variety of asians and all the different skin tones. unlike another reviewer, i don't believe there is an african american in the book, she definately looks like she is of indian descent. i enjoyed this book and am recommending it to all my friends.
Not asian faces. just anyones faces.:
I dont like this book at all. There was a black girl in the book. WHy it says asian faces? I dont know. that was the reason for me to buy it. I can see if that black girl was half asian or looked asian. But she was no where near. I think this book should be called womens faces not asian faces. Not worth it. I would never buy this book again.
This book is OKAY.:
It's not a GREAT book if you know all of the makeup basics. There are a few things in here that are interesting, like the section that involves the layering of the eyeshadow... but not much. It covers pretty basic stuff. The looks in the book are okay too, but I'm sure they're looks that anybody could come with if they got bored and decided to play with makeup.
