Solid product that works well:
This is my first GPS unit and I have been using it for 3 weeks now. So far I find it to be very reliable if a bit quirky. The screen has a very nice resolution and the audio is plenty loud enough to hear even over my stereo. I love the turn by turn directions with street names, distance, direction of turn, etc. Very helpful and very accurate. Also very nice is the 3-D view of highway exit signs/lanes that pops up where applicable. Very helpful in knowing exactly what lane to get into and how to use the... more info
7200 T:
This is our first GPS unit and it worked great right out of the box. There are trade-offs no matter what unit you by, this has everything I need. Yes, you do have hold the off button for 8 seconds and it takes about 40 sheets of paper to download the manual at 4 pages per sheet, but there are alot of features for the money.
Navigon 7200T:
So far, I have only taken the Navigon 7200T on one long trip - 350 miles from Illinois to Michigan and the same distance for the return. Great price for a lot of features:
This is a very good product for it's price. It has the same features as some of the $500 + dollar GPS's on the market. The fact that it offers free live traffic updates should be enough to help swade even the tighest of pockets. It is easy enough to use so that even the least tech savy person can use it and with a little time spent playing with this unit you can learn it's more advanced features in only a short time.
