NIS 2009 install tip:
If you are replacing a prior version of NIS Norton Internet Security 2009 1User/3Pc, save yourself some aggravation and run the Symantec uninstall tool from Symantec's web page before you try to install NIS 2009. It completely removes all Symantec products. You don't get a clean uninstall if you just do it from the control panel and the new version won't install correctly.

Norton gives me a feeling of security:
I had Norton Internet security 2008. One day last month I went to download my daily virus signatures and a dialog box from Norton came up and asked me if I wanted to download Norton Internet Security 2009 FOR FREE. Of course I clicked on "yes". N.I.S. 2009 is great. I like the new interface better, it only takes about 30 seconds to download new virus signatures and other updates. A Much Better NIS Than In The Past:
In just simple terms for those of you out there that have a limited understanding of the technical aspects of software like myself, all I can say is that this seems to be the best NIS that has come out in years.
I have been using Norton Antivirus and NIS since back in 2000 and have always had some issues or problems that would crop up or really slow down the computer.
