2 CD Special Edition. After 8 menacing albums, the kings of black metal return with their most dastardly tale yet. Chronicling the story of the world's first serial killer, French nobleman and soldier of Joan of Arc, Gilles De Rais. Like they had done with the story of Elizabeth Bathory, Cradle of Filth weave a tale of murder, the occult, and sinister deed around their trademark metal sound. Fueled by breakneck speed, crushing guitars, and haunting vocals- the band has delivered their hardest most aggressive and chilling piece yet. This is the 2CD special edition.
