Second one works great!:
After much research I decided this would be my first bread machine. My husband got it for me for Christmas so of course I was anxious to give it the test. The first machine I got made great dough but went through all the cycles and upon completion, still dough. Guess the heating element was broken because it never baked either loaf I tried. Forunately I bought it from a local store so I packed it up and exchanged it. Tested the new one today and it works great. I bought the Bread Lover's Bread Machine... more info
Great bread machine:
I love this bread machine. I can make up to 5 batches of dough a day and it keeps in there with me! I mostly use it to make just dough, because I do not like the paddle places left in my bread. Lots of options on cycles and easy to use. I like the horizontal pan and the 3 lb size allows me to make larger amounts of dough without worrying if it will hold it.

Where this breadmaker falls short is in its features. There is no "bake only" or "pause" cycles, which often has me turning on the oven if I'm doing a special loaf of some sort. The whole reason I like kitchen gadgets is to keep from turning on the oven so this machine has proven self-defeating since I already own a Kitchen Aid stand mixer that can make... more info
This is the best bread machine I've ever had.:
This is my third bread machine and the best one I've ever had. I do admit that I don't use a bread machine to cook my bread...I prefer cooking my bread in the oven... I use my bread machines to knead the dough. My first bread machine was an old Betty Crocker II that I bought back in the late 80s or early 90s. It supposedly made a two pound loaf...I used to knead much more dough than that and it would handle it just fine. After 15 years of loyal service it finally died. My mother gave me a bread machine... more info
