BRACKETRON UFM-300-BX Nav-Pack Weighted GPS Dash Mount/ Carrying Case. Turns a protective carrying case for your portable GPS into a handy, stable dashboard mount. The Nav-Pack combines the physics of weight distribution along with a high-tech, anti-skid material to provide a solid, stable mounting base for your portable GPS or other electronic devices including satellite radios. Nav-Pack contours to the top of your vehicle¿s dashboard so it works on any uneven or textured surface and the anti-skid base keeps your device from sliding.
The Nav-Pack is an innovative mounting device for most GPS units, and doubles as a carrying case when not in use. Contouring to the top of your dashboard, the Nav-Pack works on most uneven or textured surfaces. By combining the physics of weight distribution and anti-skid material, it keeps your device firmly in place. The Nav-Pack provides a stable mounting base for your portable GPS or other electronic devices, and an adjustable strap snaps into 4 different positions to give you an optimum viewing angle.
When not in use, you can close the Nav-Pack and zip it up. The padded case protects your device for lightweight portability or storing out of sight (e.g., under the seat or in the glove compartment) for added security. A shoulder and wrist strap are included for carrying convenience.
The Nav-Pack's inner dimensions are approximately 5.25 x 4.25 x 1.375 inches (W x H x D).

TSA doesn't like it:
I use this for travel, as I rent cars frequently, however, if you are going to fly with it, be prepared for delays at security. TSA will open your suitcase, take the Nav-Pack apart, check it over thoroughly and rerun it through the x-ray machine. Happens every time. Other minor gripe: the adhesive on the velcro strip is not very strong. In fact, the velcro is stronger. First time I went to take the GPS out of the Nav-Pack the GPS came out and the velcro strip stayed. I had to glue the strip on.
Mount And Go:
I have a Motorola GPS that comes with a window mount that turns out to be useless for my Toyota Venza. The Bracketron Nav-Pack is ideal in that I can place it on my dash board or console. The pack has enough weight combined with the rubber base to hold in place. I have not used it with a rental car but I don't anticipate any problems or have concern with placing the weighted pack in my carry on luggage. It works for me and should for you.

Fits like it was made for the GPS and slips into pocket like case was made for the GPS. I would still buy it. With this downside, I would recommend purchase - and from Amazon (lowest price and excolent srevice). First unit was bad. Worked with... more info
