This is my first humidifier. I bought it over a year ago after reading reviews on several different models. This is the second winter I've used it and it has worked well for me. It puts out plenty of vapor for my large bedroom, but I do have it about 3 feet from me for maximum benefit. It goes through about 3/4 of a tank each night as I set it on maximum output and continuous mode. Venta-Sonic VS207 1-year review:
After 1-year still works like a charm. Whisper quiet. After letting it sit for most of the Spring through Fall got it back out. Put a new demineralization cartridge on it, started right up. Pro's:
1. Whisper quiet.
2. No white residue.
3. Increases the humidity in a room quickly. Con's:
1. Humidity indicator is not accurate, but can be easily worked around.
2. Somewhat awkward to fill. I would recommend this product.

After reading reviews on Amazon.com, I ordered this product from a company called Today's Concept. Four days later I received an e-mail informing me that Today's Concept had experienced a delay in receiving my order, there was a delay in receiving the product from the manufacturer, and they would inform me when shipment would occur. Awesome product, third Venta humidifier (all still working)...:
I have two of the original Venta Sonic's that don't have the digital readout and am extremely pleased with them. I read the reviews of this new one and barely bought it... but good lord it's a great product. I don't have a hygrometer but I know I like the humidity where the readout says 45%, easy enough. This is my third humidifier from Venta [all are still working fantastic].
