Back from his Grammy Award win for Best Comedy Album 2006 for "The Carnegie Hall Performance", Lewis has a whole new set of what's setting him off. From the insanity of golf and losing his virginity to a skipping album to his favorite time of year - Christmas in Vegas - "Anticipation" could just be his best album yet.

Not the best Black:
I'm more a fan of Luther Burbank Performing Arts Center Blues and The End of the Universe than I am of this one. It just seems a bit less polished, and the energy level never really builds terribly high. I think Black senses this, and near the end of the album he sort of apologizes for the turn his act has taken in the last year toward what he calls more depressing material. It's a Black Christmas, Lewis Black:
I loved this CD, and I laughed my [...] off. Worth every penny. Lowlights include golfer jokes that aren't quite as good as George Carlin's, and some others I don't remember that lead to mere chuckles. Definitely not his best work.:
There were few laughs to be had from Louis Black on this cd. Most of it was just ho-hum, and some of it was downright anti-semitic. THere are better Black cd's to spend your money on. Don't bother with this one.
