Awesome slow-cooker:
Hamilton Beach 33967 Set 'n Forget 6-Quart Programmable Slow Cooker If you want an absolutely great slow cooker that does it all, this one's the ticket. Programable, has probe for temperature cooking, and also manual. We cooked a 4.5 lb. roast in 4 hours on LOW. We love it and wished we had gotten one sooner.
Very Nice!:
This is my first crock pot. I did a lot of research online and this one seemed like the best one for the money. I am very happy with it and love all the features this one has over other models. The locking lid is great and clean up a breeze. I found it very easy to use, nice & simple. I like the keep warm feature. I haven't used the probe yet but do plan on it. I like that it is 6 quart size, not too small. I think I will be using this for many years. Very happy!
Great for office parties:
I was tired of trying to transport food to my holiday office party and have half of it spill in my car on the way there so as soon as I saw this slow cooker I had to have it. The sealing gasket works great, no spills even with soups or stews on my 40 minute commute! I especially like the probe feature, it is unique among slow cookers I have seen in the stores. Highly recommend the product!
Performs as advertised:
We took the suggestion from one of the consumer magazines and purchased the "Set'n Forget Slow Cooker. We have used it several times and find it to be as advertised. It work and is easy to clean. What more could you ask?
