Finally, one I can finish:
For the first time in about two years, I was able to finish one of these games. There are no puzzles in here that require you to attempt them 80 zillion times in the hope that you might luck out once and be able to continue the game. No sneaking past guards (thank GOD!), no spraying for bees, and no fox and geese. Best of all, you don't have to out-fight, out-run, or come up with some counterintuitive scheme for escaping the bad guys that requires randomly clicking on everything in sight hoping you luck out... more info
Best in Series so far:
A long awaited for brilliant game by Her Interactive. After many unsuccessful games, this Nancy Drew title has finally brought back what was so easy to love about the series when it first started. The plot is undeniably intriguing with ingenious twists. It is filled with mystery that makes sense. The graphics are beautiful like always. The characters are well-developed although there are few. The puzzles make sense and are challenging yet not impossible. As Nancy Drew, you go the gorgeous countryside... more info
Typical Nancy Drew:
Some of the timed mini-games are very difficult without gaming mouse, but still very enjoyable.
Fun, but doesn't live up to the others:
fisrt of all, let me start by saying the Nancy Drew games are awesome. however, this game was a bit boring for me; not as exciting as the others. although there was some mystery, it didn't do a whole heck of a lot. in other words, it was good, but not great like the other ones. a bit too short, in my opinion.
