Bought this item to make my phone a MP3 player and it works great.I just plug the adaptor in and set my phone to play and i have about 10 hrs of music available to listen to. no need to carry a MP3 now. one problem is when you get a phone call you have to unplug the adaptor to answer it.
good for its purpose:
bought this just as an output for music from phone. works fine. plug into phone and into headset pin = good. have an 8mb card for phone. no ipod necessary. will work with input plugs in cars i assume, don't have one atm. and besides for a penny...
Not smart:
for one dollar more you can have the one with Microphone. without Microphone this item is useles. Do not buy it. get EFORCITY Premium Stereo Headset / Speaker Adaptor + Microphone.
