aerosmith wii:
I'd played regular guitar hero before and got the aerosmith game to have some new songs to play. Not quite as cool... The songs so far are pretty slow and not that exciting. You don't get many song choices in order to move on. Pretty much play the 2 we offer to move on and thats it. Slightly disappointed.
do not buy if you use an hdtrv:
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2FPEO8NYEWUUA it works fine on a normal tv but on an hdtv, the lag callibration does not help. when you play it on an hdtv, you are actually playing "callibration hero aerosmith" theres no way to win, its just to test you to see how long it takes you before you can bash your head on the guitar
Guitar Hero Aerosmith:
Has a decent set list, is missing a few well known Aerosmith songs and includes some that I have never heard of. Overall though, it's Guitar Hero and it's cool.
Wish there were more songs:
I read the reviews before buying this game, so I was prepared for a poor song list. The game play is similar to Guitar Hero III, however about 1/2 the songs are Aerosmith. I was able to sit down and play through the entire game in just a few hours. It was fun, but not very challenging. The biggest let down is the song list. They are missing so many great Aerosmith songs, and they included too many obscure songs. I am definitely glad I got the game on sale, and would recommend waiting for a sale before... more info
