Phone Features Weighing just 3.38 ounces and just 0.55 inches thin, the Pearl 8300 manages to fit a QWERTY keyboard onto the handset's slim frame. Each button on the keyboard shares two letters and the unit automatically determines which letter is the intended one based on what it predicts you are trying to spell. This unique predictive text technology, known as SureType, makes the Pearl 8300's diminutive size possible. SureType also learns the words you use most often, further enhancing your typing speed.

Great phone with small issues:
I got this exact phone back in June, and at I LOVED IT! I still love it, I have had a few glitches that I'm waiting on Sprint to fix, every morning, the phone erases all my text messages and unless I reset the phone by removing the battery, all my texts will be deleted upon getting them.
I have no problem with the amount of space on the phone and I haven't put in the media card. I took mine on vacation to the Keys and the camera did very well. My only problem there is you can't send pictures to a... more info

I've been a long time Palm user for it's calendar, contacts, notes, and medical reference capabilities, plus of course, some pocket chess and other fun things. But as you probably know, palm is not even trying to stay current, so when I went shopping for an integrative phone and PDA device I looked at all the contenders. 1. To be fair, I had to check out the Centro. I wasn't fond of the device overall and especially the keyboard. Plus, Palm OS is dead so I felt that it was time to move on.
