These were our daughters favorites growing up. Now she wants to share these classic favorites with her daughter!
The classics!:
Wonderful music -- all the classics as I remember from my childhood, and now my kids can enjoy these songs, too. My favorite is Ernie's sad song, "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon," but my boys especially love "Happy Tappin' With Elmo," and "C is for Cookie." My 16-month old is a HUGE fan of Grover, and so he really loves the "Monster in the Mirror" song. This is a great mix of music to sing and dance and clap along with -- wubba-wubba-wubba-wubba-woo-woo-woo!
A wonderful gift for a grandchild:
I am about 10 years too old for Sesame Street (we had Captain Kangaroo) but my little sister played her Sesame Street 8-tracks ALL THE TIME, so I know these classics all too well. My oldest child has a two year old and takes her to day care and back five days a week. Listening to recordings made for children make the drives bearable. great sing along:
My daughter and I both love this CD and play it almost every other day. We don't ever watch the show (it is never on TV here in the Czech Republic) but the songs are still a lot of fun. It is also nice that the lyrics are printed in the CD booklet so it was easy to learn the words. I definitely recommend it to everyone. I plan to use it in my English classes too (even my adult students enjoy children's songs) since the songs are easy enough to understand.
