I love this camera! I bought it to keep in my purse and as a back up to my SLR. I end up using it more than the SLR. I haven't tried it in the water yet, but I used it in the snow which was really cool because I wouldn't have wanted my expensive camera to get wet. I even took it snowmobiling. Also I let my little neices and nephews use/play with it without worrying about if they're going to drop it or chew on it :) It has a lot of different modes to choose from, more than I'll ever use, but it's nice to... more info
