Great new songs along with some his older more familiar songs updated/remade.:
Jim Brickman never sounded better. His old songs are reworked, and his new ones are excellent... I always enjoy and relax to the sounds and songs he produces. I am a big fan, and anyone else who njoys his music will not be disappointment by this addition to his body of work !
Disappointed...:
Disappointed that there is not more new material in here... :( Need some inspiration here... Like the artist, just have these songs already...
Another Great Album by Jim Brickman:
This CD was great! I love it! Just because some of the songs are old and he revisited them doesn't mean a thing. Hearing the old songs in a new way is great because it makes you want to hear the old versions so you get out your old cds and are listening to them again. Don't you think that might have been what he wanted? Anyways even if you are new to his music don't dismiss this cd just because of some bad reviews. Get it from the library first and see if you like it. It's well worth a listen. I have... more info
get the new material only:
"Valentine" was a special cd that Jim Brickman released in February 2008 for the 10 year anniversary of his hit song, "Valentine". The majority of the songs on the cd are remakes of his older hits, sung by new singers. The remakes are not as good as the original versions. I recommend getting the new material that is on the album: "To Hear You Say You Love Me" (vocals by Jake Simpson), "Sundown", "Open", Brazil Sunset", "Sacred Moment".
