Hilary Swank is Holly, a deeply happy lass married to the most impossibly adorable Irishman on the planet, Gerry (Gerard Butler). When an illness takes him from her, Holly spirals into depression. Then, as if from beyond the grave, communications, gifts, and remembrances from Gerry begin to appear--gestures he'd planned knowing his death was coming. The "communications" with her dead husband could threatened to keep Holly in past, yet they begin to pave a path into her future.
Swank, not a traditional romantic actress, is quite moving as Holly, whose grief and confusion is palpable. Really Amazing and Heart touching:
Well, this is a really good movie.
I mean the beginning was very confusing and it was hard to know what had happened. The ending was pretty predictable but I still watched it to the end. It got a little boring in the middle but overall the movie is great. Great scenerio, great music, great actors,.....great story, great movie. Watch it.
Worth Watching:
I enjoyed this movie very much. I had never seen it before watching the DVD I purchased from Amazon.com. If you like love stories, this movie is a real winner.

My bf bought my this dvd and it was great. I cried a lot... so, ladies... something to cry and feel that u NEED to apreciate more what u have or the ppl that are around u, then... its the perfect movie...

P.S. I love you is a very good movie. Though the movie starts out in a 10 minute argument followed by complete confusion if you haven't read a review it tackles and tugs on every emotion a movie goer should have for this type of film. From a males perspective, it was a little tough to get into at first but the movie grows on you as it continues.
