"Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad is great. I love using it. I bought it for my Magellan Maestro 4250 and it simply works as advertised. Way better than sticking my gps to the windshield. It always stays in it's place even with fairly sudden movements. and the convenience of just lifting the whole thing off the dashboard when parking somewhere is really nice. Can keep everything out of sight. Great bargain too as I saw the exact item for 3-4 times the price at other retailers like Best Buy & Circuit City."... more info

I bought this dash pad at the same time I bought a Tomtom 930. The 930 comes with a short bracket (suction cup device and attachment to the Tomtom). The Bracketron has a large soft outer ring which is taller than the base of the Tomtom attached to the bracket thus making this a totally useless object.

I really don't know how you can do with out... makes it very portable... especially in the city where you have to remove the gps device and put into your trunk to avoid your window being popped...
Doesn't fit Tom Tom GO 930:
The beanbag "moat" around the mounting plate is too high and Tom Tom 930 will not fit. You can "gravity mount" the TomTom on here or use the suction cup, but if you use the suction cup, you must point the Tom Tom to point to the sky so that the power cord can clear the moat.
