My product came in promptly and was very satisfying... until it broke a month later. If I had known that it was so flimsy, I would have chosen a different brand.
GREAT FOR BEGINNERS:
If you are new to balisong work, then this trainer is an excellent way to safely figure things out. the weight is okay, and there is NO WAY you will cut yourself on this thing. my only complaint is, after 5 or 10 hours of practice, the unit started getting exceptionally loose and "floppy." the rivets are rather cheap, and just wear out fast. perhaps their rationale is that, after that many hours, you're ready for the real thing... but i thought that this would be a little sturdier than it turned out to... more info
Good Not Great:
This is a good knife for people to get started on. Theres no chance of cutting yourself because the blade is squared off. The only real problem is the lock doesn't stick very well. When the knife is closed it'll stay closed a good amount of the time, but when it's open it will never stay. Which can be a good thing, if your doing plenty of tricks. But the worst part is the lock doesn't stay still. Obviously it's going to move when your spining it and stuff, but it doesn't stay out of the way at the same... more info
Worst knife i have ever owned:
Well, when i opened the package and pulled the knife out of the box, it was quite heavy, after flipping it a few times i realized how extremely cheap it was, after about 30 minutes of playing with it, the pin that holds the latching handle to the blade snapped causing the handle to fly across the room and almost break a window, i don't recommend this balisong at all, this item deserves a -3 rating.
