Customer Review: This is an excellent radio for the money. I bought 8 of these radios for my friends and family for a christmas present. I live out in the middle of no where and besides my back up generator, this is a must.

Customer Review: we have had this weather radio for over a year now. Once you program in which area your in, it works great. FYI, you have to tell it which alerts you want to monitor, because when we first bought it, we were getting woken up in the middle of the night, because of small craft advisory !more info

I live about 12 miles from a NOAA transmitter with absolutely no impediment to the signal from hills etc. I could not pick them up with the included antenna.
