Nice little speaker delivering good sound and volume:
Bought this to plug into a Sonos in a small room. Very nice little speaker, ideal for background music. Obviously it struggles at higher volumes but delivers high quality sound and a fair amount of bass for its size. It's a shame Yamaha don't offer a bigger version of this with a Fiber optic input. It would definitely make my life easier :) Price wise I think it's a great little speaker and works great with my laptop also.
Nice Sound:
This is a very nice speaker. For it's size the sound is surprisingly good. Compared to other travel speakers, frankly the sound is outstanding. There really is a bit of bass, no rumble, but you can definately hear good low tones. I'm pretty particular about sound, and this speaker worked very well for music, movies, and computer. Dialog was very clear to me. It worked great with my iPod, cell phone, DVD player, and computer. On the one hand, I wish it were battery operated. For travel that would be... more info
