Replacement Windshield Mount:
I travel for a living and I cannot live without a GPS. While in Iowa in December, the temps got down to the minus zero leves and the factory supplied mount just couldn't handle it. The thing came apart (fractured) into four pieces around the pivot point. As soon as I returned home, I started looking for a replacement part. The first place I went was Amazon.com and I was not disappointed. The price was right and I actually received it from the vendor three days after I ordered it! it arrive at my house... more info
Windshield Mount doesn't Macth Picture:
The item I recieved doesn't match the picture and doesn't adhear to the windshield. Suction cup is to small and just won't stick.
Wrong Picture But Same and Newer Product:
The item pictured is not what you get. However, you get Magellan's newer version of the mount and it serves the same purpose. Although it is smaller, it is capable of holding even the big 5 and 7 inch systems with no problems and seems to be made of stronger material.
