Tank Abbott"s Debut:
UFC 6 was the event of Tank Abbott. who did great in the event before running into a wall named Oleg Taktarov. both men ran thru their compition and faced each other in the main event. The Shamrock Vs Severn match was good and Shamrock made up for his sad performance against Gracie. The one guy who I thought did good but at the same time I kept wondering as I did the reviews..Was Pat Smith..who in all his UFC appearances looked good but only lasted one round or 2 before pulling out due to... more info
Tank Abbott's debut in UFC:
UFC 6 featured an eight-man tournament, a Superfight, and two alternate fights. This classic tournament had no weight classes, or weight limits. Each match had no rounds; therefore no judges were used for the night. A 20 minute time limit was imposed for the quarterfinal and semi-final round matches in the tournament. Quarterfinal Matchups were:
Tank Abbott vs. John Matua Paul Varelans vs. Cal Worsham Patrick Smith vs. Rudyard Moncayo Oleg Taktarov vs. Dave Beneteau It is... more info
great UFC:
This is where Ken makes up for that last crappy performance he made. Oleg is an actor too, he plays in 15 minutes with Robert Dinero. Watch the special features, Oleg talks about how he wanted to be an actor but couldnt speak english so he became a fighter. What I like most about Oleg is his leg locks, which are very difficult to pull off.
I love all UFC's with Royce Gracie!:
Now nevermind the fact that I am female... you just can't deny that Royce Gracie, and ALL of the Gracie brothers are masters of their craft. Truly amazing athletes. I'm one of the few women UFC lovers, I should join a support group :D
