Better than the OEM cable!:
Much thicker and better contructed the the original. With the original, the end the went into the cigarette lighter popped off within 2 weeks of our purchase. We used some folded paper and glue to get the metal fuze centerd and making contact again and actually kept it that way since it was hardly ever OUT of the adapter and shipping it back would have been a hassle. Power Adapter ...:
Works great. The fuse kept blowing in our old one and we took a chance to see if this one would work. It did work, but the problem still remained. We discovered the antenna was a little loose. After we tightened the antenna, we were on the road again!
Perfect replacement part:
I bought this to replace the original cord which had worn out. It was actually sturdier than the orginal and worked just as well.
Magellan RoadMate Compatible 12V auto charger works AOK:
All of a sudden, my original car charger for my Magellan RoadMate stopped working. Couldn't find a replacement on the Magellan site. I saw this and gave it a try. Received as promised. Works like a charm! Much cheaper than purchasing a new magellan.
