This Wusthof Knife Life Sharpener is a two stage knife sharpener with a built-in scissors sharpener. The carbide side sets your knife's edge, while the ceramic side finishes the edge. The scissors sharpener will sharpen both blades for left- or right-handed scissors at the same time. The E-Z grip handle and non-slip rubber feet helps to keep the sharpener in place and safe to use. The Knife Life Sharpener is for both right and left handed use.

Simple easy to use tool that works:
The Wusthof is a must have for any knife owner that wants a sharp edge. I love tools that are simple and work. The process is very easy and I get a reliable sharp edge everytime I use it. I have sharpened every knife I have in the house. The tool is small enough to fit in a drawer or some counter space. Using the tool is not a chore and is easily available when needed. There is no setup involved. Grab knife, grab sharpner, slide through and have a sharp edge.
good sharpener:
I bought this product in hopes that it would sharpen my badly damaged knives that have been mistreated over the years. I also loved the fact that it has 3 sharpeners, one rough, one fine and one for scissors. I used it for some regular knives that werent damaged and it did a good job. It helped sharpen and correct some of the edges on my damaged knives, but after using it often, it was apparent to me that I needed somthing else that would help give me that professional edge to my damaged knives. When our old knife sharpener didn't seem to be having much effect on our knives anymore, I ordered this sharpener based on the reviews here. What a great little sharpener! I can't believe how dull my knives had become over time with our old sharpener (amazing what you can gradually become used to). This sharpener makes slicing and chopping a breeze again. Wusthof Two Stage knife sharpener arrived promptly and well packaged when ordered through Amazon. Our old electric sharpener was inconvenient and the knife blade guides shifted so it no longer kept the correct bevel on the blade edge. The Wusthof is easy to store and use.
