The filter shown is not the filter I received, although honeywell explained to me that the HAC504A was an acceptable alternative. I would warn against purchasing this b/c I was told they often ship filter substitutions without having to notify the buyer.
GREAT PRICE:
I thought that I would end up paying every bit of $25.00 or more for a replacement filter for my Honeywell humidifier. I was wrong, found it for only $5.00 and $4.99 s/h! What companies don't understand is that any perceived revenue loss is made up by increase in number of units sold. See, it didn't hurt that bottom line too much now did it? And I am even more motivated to return here for repeat business because I felt like I got a good deal....imagine that?
BUYER BEWARE:
These filters are generic and NOT made by Honeywell... They are thinner than the Honeywell brand and they are a smaller diameter than the Honeywell brand which means that you have to forcefully put them into place. I still have a good unused Honeywell filter that I compared them to. I emailed customer support and have not heard from them at all. Good luck to you if you order through this company. I bought this to replace a filter in my Honeywell Humidifier. I didn't know that it was generic, is it? Anyway, it does its job in the humidifier in the corner or my bedroom and I'm good! Then again, I wasn't asking much in a filter, so how wrong can it be?
