Good information:
I am thankful that this book is out there to educate all of us trying to swim our way through the drugstore for skincare products. I love that this book focuses on the functional concentrations of active ingredients found in products instead of recommending brand names in an effort to teach us to understand what we are buying and using. I can personally attest that I have spent money on snake oil in the past and using the principles in this book am hopefully on the right path to better skincare. This... more info
Attn all women interested in their skin!:
This book is the best book I've ever read for the home user of skin care products who need help in selecting cleansers, toners, moisturizers, etc. I am recommending this book to all of my clients. It is nice to discover my views and philosopy of skin care (after nearly 20 years in the field) (which I teach my clients) agree with about 98% of what Dr. Ciraldo promotes...a nice validation for me!
Beauty camp:
While there were some very practical suggestions to improve your skin, the book did not give any specifics. I found it a bit complicated. There were no real solutions for me other than dont use soap, anything laurate (look at product ingredients) and shea butter. It will take me more than 6 weeks to understand all the technical mumbo-jumbo.
6 wks to sensational skin:
The book is very good. I like the content because it's clear and very sensible advise.
